India is a beautiful country with rich tradition and culture. It is a land of diversity and people of different races, color and communities collectively stay here to form an inseparable part of the country. With people of different origin and places cohesively pooling in their expertise and creativity, fashion industry of India has been highly affected and exhibits attires that are a mix of all communities. 

One might explore a range of ethnic outfits in India. Though there are different outfits of different communities but people across pan India have happily adopted them to rise above the differentiation between one community and other.

India unveils a plethora of ethnic outfits of different communities for instance- lehenga choli is the preferred apparel of Rajasthan, Suits are majorly worn by Punjabi’s and Saree is the preferred outfit amid Rajputs. All the outfits mentioned here is a classification of different apparels chosen by individuals amid different communities within home country but when these attires are showcased internationally, they are presented as Indian outfits and add to the richness and traditional touch of the country by and large as there are a range of attires to showcase.

India clothing over the centuries is inspired by the geographical regions from which it has originated but presently, all women across the world mix and matches the apparels to wear them as per the event and occasion. There are different styles, patterns and designs that are present. Designs and fabric chosen to create an outfit largely depend upon the season and the market trends. One can choose the apparels as per the occasion and the budget constraints.

India has been known all across the world for its colourful and beautiful attires. Indian clothing's since centuries have been inspired by variations like geography and religious beliefs. If one notices the current tends of fashion industry in India, they will easily identify that it has, replicated the sheen, styles, patterns and designs of the bygone years, the era of the royalty, where extravagant expenditures were made on attires and jewelleries. 

Indian costumes are admired for their plethora of colours and for being natural, contemporary and craft based. Ethnic wears that often finds its way to the wardrobe of an Indian includes Kurta, Turban, Salwar Kameez, Sari, Sherwani and Dhoti.
